We’re kicking off a series of laid-back, themed BBQ events at the pondside this summer. Each weekend is a unique celebration of iconic global BBQs presented in our Farmhouse style.

These are walk-in events with a mixture of table seating, standing areas & blankets on the lawn. If you’d like to reserve a table for a group of 8+, please call 07487 553194.

Smash Burgers | 25th – 26th July Smashed patties – classic with cheese & gherkin or go hot with chilli sauce & pickled jalapeños!
Pitmaster BBQ | 1st – 2nd August Dry rub smoked beef brisket ciabatta or sticky pork ribs & slaw.
Jerk Wraps | 8th – 9th August Jerk chicken thighs or wings with rice and peas.
Nest Mangal | 22nd – 23rd August Lamb kofta flatbreads or chicken kebabs with salad.
Farmhouse Dogs | 15th – 16th Classic hot dog with onions & mustard, or chilli dogs with cheese & jalapeños.
Pondside Churasco | 29th – 30th August Beef rump with BBQ new potatoes or flat iron steak sarnie.
Vegetarian options will be available at all BBQs.
FAQs
Seating is a mixture of tables, standing and space for picnic rugs on the lawn (please bring your own). Tables are first come first served, so be sure to come early if you’d like to bag one.
Groups of 8+ can call ahead to reserve a table – please note tables will only be held for 15mins before being released to others to enjoy.
Orders for food & drinks need to be made at the stalls (like a festival) and you wait for your order there – there is no table service. Nor is there service charge!
Access to the pondside is down a few short steps – for those with access requirements, the garden bank can be accessed without the use of stairs, however there are no tables in this area.
We are family-friendly and welcome four-legged friends – dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
Parking for BBQ guests is in the overspill carpark – this will be clearly signposted on the day!
The BBQs will go ahead whatever the weather, so please dress appropriately.
Please note the restaurant, lounge bar & veranda are only for the use of restaurant guests, and BBQ food/drinks cannot be consumed in these areas.
