Norfolk Coast Path

The 84-mile Norfolk Coast Path runs from Hunstanton to Hopton-on-Sea. Much of this walking trail runs through the dramatic landscape of the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Experience seaside towns and villages, tidal marshes teeming with wildlife, wide sandy beaches, pine woodlands and huge skies.

The Norfolk Coast Path running from Hunstanton to Cromer is 42 miles long, and the majority of this walking trail takes you through the dramatic landscape of the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The most westerly point of the Norfolk Coast Path is the seaside town of Hunstanton. It then passes through areas rich in wildlife; the salt marshes near Brancaster, Holkham National Nature Reserve with its vast sandy beaches and pine

Holkham Hall

Holkham Hall is steeped in history and always has activities on, whether it be exhibitions, workshops or the weekly park run. We love Holkham Hall for its dedication towards sustainability and conservation strategy.

Hop aboard their tractor-trailer for a whistle-stop journey around Holkham deer park. Sit tight while the knowledgeable guides tell you all about the resident herd of Fallow Deer that call Holkham home.

RSPB

Norfolk is home to some of Britain’s most wonderful birdlife and we’re lucky enough to have RSPB Titchwell and RSPB Snettisham on our doorstep. Go and soak up the natural beauty and enjoy the great outdoors.

Seals

A trip to see the seals is a must whilst you’re in Norfolk. The boats launch from Morston Quay and head towards Blakeney harbour and the end of Blakeney point, which is home to the grey and white seals. Tickets can be booked at Temple Seal Trips.

Houghton Hall

A major exhibition by the acclaimed British sculptor, Stephen Cox: Myth will be presented across the park, gardens and interiors of Houghton Hall from 4 May to 28 September.

Whilst you’re there, Houghton’s award winning five acre walled garden are a must-see!

Blakeney

Blakeney is an area of outstanding beauty and well worth a visit, for it’s independent shops, Blakeney Guildhall and National Trust Nature Reserve.

You can also tie in a seal trip, whilst you’re there!
